I was first introduced to Plexus on February 22, 2016.
1 year, 8 months, 8 days later, here I am, telling you about what held me back for so long and what it was that finally pushed me to take the plunge. Rather than drone on and on, I've tried to make it a little interesting and compiled a list...3 reasons it took me so long:
1) I Didn't "Need" It
I was in good health. I was only in my mid-twenties. And I was getting by... wasn't I?
2) It was too expensive
As I said in #1, I was in my mid twenties. Need I say more?
3) Everyone said it was a Pyramid Marketing Scheme
And those are bad, aren't they? Everyone seems to think so!
I didn't want to just "get by". I wanted to soar. To be free from my new lactose intolerance, my constant mood swings, my rare and irregular bowel movements(TMI?). Oh, and my chronic allergies, my bloating, cravings, all-day snacking, my burps (which may be famous) caused by acid reflux, and the tired feeling I got daily at 10:30, 2:30, and 8:30. Yeah, getting by was harder than it seemed.
2) I was worth it!
After dropping $50 on a subscription box service (you know the ones that send you things they promise you need but when it comes to your door you like 1 out of the 6 items that came?) I realized that If I had the money to drop on things I absolutely didn't even want or need, I could find the money to spend on my health and happiness.
3) If the products are helping, then they are not bad.
Sure, Plexus is absolutely what we know of as "Pyramid Marketing" as in there is someone at the top who makes money for all of the hard work they do. It is also a scheme which is defined as a large-scale systematic plan or arrangement for attaining some particular object or putting a particular idea into effect. Isn't everything organized and effective a scheme, by that definition?? But why, if the products are beneficial, are any of those things a bad thing?
And so, my products are due to arrive tonight. 1 year, 8 months, and 8 days later. And I am so excited to start this journey!

But, I said yes because:
1) "Getting By" stopped being enoughI didn't want to just "get by". I wanted to soar. To be free from my new lactose intolerance, my constant mood swings, my rare and irregular bowel movements(TMI?).
